Lodge Christmas Dinner Basics

To create an English lodge mood, we gathered a mix of colorful dinnerware and table linens within in the hunter's palette of green and red with touches of burnished gold.

Dishware

Our handmade red Cambria Dinnerware layers beautifully with white and, with its natural undertones and rubbed edges, has a visual warmth that brings an appetizing ambiance to the meal. A Cambria Footed Bowl is perfect for serving soup, while the Cambria platter displays the roast pheasant in well–dressed style. Underneath each plate is one of our Octagonal Pewter Chargers, which go a long way in keeping the look of the table subtly luxurious while softening the primary colors of the dinnerware. Our white porcelain Deer in Snow plates and platter feature a serene winter scene in muted, natural colors and the plates and platter are the ideal size for serving side dishes and appetizers. The Ridge flatware collection is a great choice for an English country–inspired dinner, with its richly–distressed patina suggesting years of use. And something plaid is a must–have for a lodge dinner, suggesting the red plaid jackets often worn by hunters. Our Plaid Plates are perfect, not only for this lodge theme party, but for any celebration for years to come.

Glassware

You'd expect to drink from glasses just like our hand–blown Decade Glassware Collection at an English lodge, with their elegant profiles and grand proportions, plus the weighty feel of top–quality glass. Serve water or display winter branches in our handmade Gabriella Pitcher, embellished with a coiled handle and a burnished–gold finish.

Accessories

Underneath it all, the intricately patterned and predominately red Georgina Paisley Runner and Napkins, adapted from an antique shawl, give the table a vibrant look. Choosing a runner, instead of a tablecloth, keeps the focus on the beautiful dinnerware and shows off your table's wood grain or finish.
