Overview
The authoritative style and high-functioning design of our new furnishings give home workspaces the substance of offices a century ago. We’ve built each piece of thick pine warmed with our exclusive vintage honey finish, hand-applied in multiple coats. The broad desk stands on modified trestle legs supported by angle bracing. Bluff-cut center drawers conceal a pullout keyboard tray; single drawers on each side hold pens, pencils and other small supplies.Dimensions & Details

COMPOSITION & CONSTRUCTION
Made of pine, birch, MDF, and pine veneer. Frame, legs and stretcher are solid pine wood. Drawer box is solid birch. Drawer glides are iron. Aluminum name plates.
All wood is kiln dried, a process that removes moisture from wood and ensures that it will not split, warp, crack or mildew.
Hand-applied, oil-based finish using a multi-step process topped with a lacquer sealant. All sides finished.
MDF is a man-made fiberboard consisting of wood fibers & resin binders. Ideal for painted furnishings and commonly used as a base for veneers because of its strength. MDF features uniform consistency with no knots, is more structurally stable than medium-weight hardwood, and finishes adhere to it well. It has about the same density as a medium-weight hardwood.
Pottery barn has established that using veneers for several of our furniture items provides us an opportunity to give our customers excellent quality and finishes. By using veneer our furniture has flawless surfaces, consistent color tones and will not be subject to gapping, warping and cracking, characteristics that are often present in solid wood furniture.

This item is intended for indoor use only. To clean, use a damp cloth. Wipe spills immediately. Avoid the use of cleaners or abrasives as they may damage finish.

We are proud of our exclusive In-Home Delivery Service. When indicated, these items are brought into your home, unpacked and assembled, and the packaging is taken away. Delivery is by appointment; Monday - Friday in all areas; Saturday delivery in some areas. In-Home Delivery is available in the contiguous 48 states as well as Maui, Oahu and the Island of Hawaii.

Return Policy
At Pottery Barn, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction is our priority. We carefully inspect your order prior to shipment. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement. If, within 7 days for Quick Ship upholstery and 30 days for all other products, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value.
We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. We also cannot accept returns of final-sale items which are identified by a price which ends in .99.
For returns of items purchased from your Pottery Barn registry, we will gladly provide a refund or exchange for the merchandise within 90 days of your event or within 90 days of purchase, whichever date is later.
