Our bedside table is beautifully crafted from birch solids and veneers, then finished in a high-gloss lacquered antique white that’s burnished at the edges for a subtle patina. COMPOSITION & CONSTRUCTION
Frame of solid birch has top, sides and back of birch veneer over MDF (medium density fiberboard). Iron drawer pull with bronze finish. Hand applied finish in a high gloss antique white that is burnished at the edges for a subtle patina. Lacquer sealant on all sides.
Table has drawer on top and large open cubby below. Tongue-and-groove frame joinery. English dovetail joinery used for drawer construction. Adjustable levelers for uneven floors.
MDF, a man-made fiberboard consisting of wood fibers and resin binders, is known for its strength and stability, and is commonly used as a base for veneers. It features uniform consistency with no knots, and while it has about the same density as medium-weight hardwood, it is structurally more stable. It won't crack, and finishes adhere well to it, which results in a smooth end coat.
CARE
Wipe clean with a soft dry cloth. Avoid cleaner and abrasives, as they may damage finish.

For standard delivery of items in stock, UPS will deliver as quickly as 5 business days. Items shipped to Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories will take longer, and are delivered by UPS or USPS at our regular fees, with an additional charge of $10. Some heavy or oversized items cannot be shipped outside the contiguous 48 states. For these addresses or APO or FPO addresses, call our Sales Department at 1.888.779.5176.
Return Policy
To help you with holiday gift giving, we are extending our return policy for gift items purchased between October 15, 2009, and December 24, 2009. If you or a recipient are dissatisfied with a gift item purchased during this time, it can be returned by January 31, 2010, for a refund of the merchandise value. For non-gift items, if you are dissatisfied for any reason within 30 days, (or within 7 days for Quick Ship upholstery) you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value.

We carefully inspect your order prior to shipment; upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage. We will arrange for a prompt replacement.
