Artful hand painting gives this collection the richly patterned look of 16th-century Moorish chests, which were covered with a mosaic of inlaid bone. The console is great in an entryway or as an interest piece in the living room; the drawer and shelves provide ample space for all your household items. COMPOSITION & CONSTRUCTION
Overall composition of solid birch, particle board, and birch veneer. Top, doors, drawer front, shelf and side panel are solid birch, particle board, and birch veneer. Apron, frame, drawer glides and legs are solid birch. Drawer wall is solid poplar. Drawer bottom is plywood. Back panel is plywood. Wooden knobs. Adjustable levelers. Hand-applied oil-based finish on all sides using a multistep process, topped with a lacquer sealant.

All wood is kiln dried, a process that removes moisture from wood and ensures that it will not split, warp, crack or mildew.

Pottery Barn has established that the use of veneers for several of our furniture items provides us the opportunity to give our customers excellent quality and finishes. This furniture has flawless surfaces, consistent color tones, and will not be subject to cracking, characteristics that are often present in solid-wood furniture.

Dust with a clean, soft damp cloth; wipe dry immediately. Avoid the use of chemicals and harsh cleaning agents.

Return Policy
At Pottery Barn, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction is our priority. We carefully inspect your order prior to shipment. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement. If, within 7 days for Quick Ship upholstery and 30 days for all other products, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value.

We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. We also cannot accept returns of final-sale items which are identified by a price which ends in .99.

For returns of items purchased from your Pottery Barn registry, we will gladly provide a refund or exchange for the merchandise within 90 days of your event or within 90 days of purchase, whichever date is later.
