Flat-Braided Jute Rug

This simple, handmade rug defines a space with hand-spun jute that’s twisted and braided for strength and texture. Double strands of jute yarns are tightly wrapped together before braiding to minimize loose fiber ends. A twisted stripe of rope lends visual interest to the pattern.
