From brilliant azaleas and dramatic amaryllis, to delicate gardenias and fragrant lavender, a new fresh plant is delivered to you each month straight from the grower in beautiful Half Moon Bay, California.

    • A fresh, live flowering plant is delivered to you within the first week of each month.
    • Each potted plant comes tucked inside a natural moss basket, except the November plant, which comes in a natural twig basket.
    • Plastic pot has a drainage hole.
    • Blooming period varies on household and watering; ranges from one to three months.

    • Hot Pink Azalea: 6” diameter, 5" high; azalea grows to 12–16” high
    • Jasmine Wreath: 5” diameter, 5" high; jasmine grows to 17–19” high

    Care

      Azalea
    • Temperature: Ideal at 50–75°F; tolerates 33–90°F while flowering; 20–90°F in dormancy. Will tolerate short, light frosts. Protect from heavy frosts.
    • Water: Keep moist at all times. Drench thoroughly when watering. Excessive drying out or excessive sogginess causes leaf drop.
    • Light: These are shade azaleas. Provide medium shade and avoid full sun.
    • Fertilizer: None required during blooming. Use an acidic fertilizer suited for rhododendrons and azaleas.
    • Soil: An acidic soil such as one high in peat moss is preferred.

    • Jasmine
    • Temperature: Ideal at 55–75°F; tolerates 5–90°F; frost-hardy to 20°F once established in the ground outside.
    • Water: Keep soil constantly moist, but not soggy. Drench thoroughly when watering. Excessive drying out or excessive sogginess causes leaf drop.
    • Light: While in bloom, prefers bright light to full sun. Fertilizer: None required during blooming. In growth phase, fertilize with an evenly balanced formulation.
    • Soil: Well–drained soil. A mixture of peat moss, top soil and pumice is recommended.

    • Tulip
    • Temperature: Ideal at 38–65°F; tolerates 33–75°F while in bloom. The dormant bulb lasts longer if kept cool, in the ground; it can tolerate temperatures as low as -40°F.
    • Water: Keep soil evenly moist, but not soggy.
    • Light: Prefers bright light.
    • Fertilizer: None required during blooming.
    • Soil: Fast-draining soil of any type.

    • Shooting Star Hydrangea
    • Temperature: Ideal at 55–75°F during growth period, but tolerates 38–90°F; 20–50°F during dormancy.
    • Water: Drench thoroughly; drain excess water.
    • Light: Indoors, any light, but prefers medium light. In the garden, morning sun, afternoon shade.
    • Fertilizer: None required during blooming period; otherwise, apply an acidic fertilizer.
    • Soil: A mixture of peat moss and top soil is recommended.

    • Gardenia
    • Temperature: Ideal at 60–70°F; tolerates 20–95°F.
    • Water: Keep moist at all times. Do not allow to dry out during flowering as it will cause bud drop.
    • Light: Bright light, but not full sun. Light shade.
    • Fertilizer: Prefers acidic fertilizer. In fall, stop feeding. No fertilizer during blooming cycle.
    • Soil: Well–drained acidic soil. A mixture of peat moss, fir bark and sand is recommended.

    • Calla Lily
    • Temperature: Ideal at 50–70°F; tolerates 38–80°F.
    • Water: Keep soil evenly moist, but never soggy; prefers soil on the dry side.
    • Light: Bright light to full sun. Flower color intensifies in bright light and cool temperatures. Fading occurs under lower light and warmer conditions.
    • Fertilizer: None required while blooming. In growth phase, supply an acidic formulation.
    • Soil: Fast-draining soil. A mixture of peat moss, fir bark, pumice and sand is recommended.

    • Hydrangea
    • Temperature: Ideal at 55–75°F during growth period, but tolerates 38–90°F; 20–50°F during dormancy.
    • Water: Drench thoroughly; drain excess water.
    • Light: Indoors, any light, but prefers medium light. In the garden, morning sun, afternoon shade.
    • Fertilizer: None required during blooming period; otherwise, apply an acidic fertilizer.
    • Soil: A mixture of peat moss and top soil is recommended.

    • Lavender
    • Temperature: Ideal at 50–80°F; tolerates 33–90°F.

    • Light: Bright light to just shy of full sun; afternoon sun may be too hot.
    • Fertilizer: None required while blooming. In growth phase, supply balanced fertilizer.
    • Soil: Fast-draining soil. A mixture of peat moss, fir bark, pumice and sand is recommended.

    • Vintage Harvest Hydrangea
    • Temperature: Ideal at 55–75°F during growth period, but tolerates 34–90°F; 20–50°F during dormancy.
    • Water: Drench thoroughly; drain excess water. Extra attention is required for Vintage Harvest as the flower heads will not wilt even when the soil is dry.
    • Light: Indoors, any light, but prefers medium to fairly bright light. In the garden, morning sun, afternoon shade.
    • Fertilizer: None required during blooming period; otherwise, apply an acidic fertilizer.
    • Soil: A mixture of peat moss and top soil is recommended.

    • Amaryllis
    • Temperature: Ideal at 50–75°F; tolerates 38–90°F.
    • Water: Maintain even moisture. Avoid overwatering.
    • Light: Tolerates a wide range, but prefers medium to bright indoor light.
    • Fertilizer: None required during blooming period. After blooming, a standard balanced fertilizer will encourage bulb growth, which can potentially provide even more flowers the following year.
    • Soil: A mixture of peat moss, top soil and sand is recommended.

    • Zygocactus
    • Temperature: Ideal at 60–75°F; tolerates 38–90°F. Will tolerate short, light frosts. Will not tolerate freezing conditions. Keep plant in a cool location for longer-lasting blooms.
    • Water: Keep moist, but never soggy. Can tolerate some drought, but not extreme drought.
    • Light: Medium diffused. If plant does not rebloom, try placing it in a spot where it will receive 13–14 hours of total darkness per day for a period of seven weeks.
    • Fertilizer: None required during blooming. After plant is finished blooming, a light feeding with a time-release capsule containing an evenly balanced nutrient mix is desirable.
    • Soil: Peat moss.

    Return Policy
    At Pottery Barn, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction is our priority. We carefully inspect your order prior to shipment. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement. If, within 7 days for Quick Ship upholstery and 30 days for all other products, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value.

    We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. We also cannot accept returns of final-sale items which are identified by a price which ends in .99.

    For returns of items purchased from your Pottery Barn registry, we will gladly provide a refund or exchange for the merchandise within 90 days of your event or within 90 days of purchase, whichever date is later.
