A truly beautiful exterior combined with incredibly versatile storage. On top, three cubbies with two adjustable shelves, store supplies. The large center compartment can hold a TV or function as a desk, with a pullout shelf and hidden keyboard tray. The bottom has an adjustable shelf on the left and a CPU cubby on the right. Crafted of hardwood and select veneers with shutter-style doors, the armoire is hand painted in our multistep Desa Ivy finish, then distressed to reveal hints of its contrasting undercoat. Interior is stained antique honey. Cord cutouts for wire management.

COMPOSITION & CONSTRUCTION

Overall construction of solid red-meranti wood, veneers, MDF (medium density fiberboard) and plywood. MDF, a man-made fiberboard consisting of wood fibers and resin binders, is known for its strength and stability, and is commonly used as a base for veneers. It features uniform consistency with no knots, and while it has about the same density as medium-weight hardwood, it is structurally more stable. It won't crack, and finishes adhere well to it, which results in a smooth end coat. Drawer interior and legs are solid red-meranti wood; drawer glides are solid benkirai wood; doors are solid red-meranti wood with plywood; mahaogany knobs. Dowel, screw, glue and dovetail construction. All wood is kiln dried, a process that removes moisture from wood and ensures that it will not split, warp, crack or mildew. Hand-applied oil-based finish and lacquer sealant on all sides using an 11-step process.

Wipe with a clean soft cloth. Avoid the use of chemicals and harsh cleaning agents.

HOW TO MEASURE FOR DELIVERY

Once you’ve determined that your new furniture will fit your space, it is important that it can be delivered through all entryways, elevators and up all stairways.

Follow these simple guidelines to help ensure an efficient delivery:

Measure the height and width of your entryways, including elevator doors and interiors.

Use the furniture measurements to determine if it can go straight through entryways or if it will have to go in at an angle or on end.

For upholstered furniture, such as sofas and chairs, measure the overall length, depth, back height and diagonal depth. Diagonal depth is helpful when determining if the piece can be brought in on end. To determine the diagonal depth, measure from the top of the back to the front of the arm. Find the midpoint of that measurement and measure from the midpoint to the lower back leg.

Make sure that there is a clear and unobstructed path in front of and beyond each doorway. Make note of any fixtures, decorative mouldings, interior walls, ceiling heights, stairwells and banisters that may pose an obstacle once inside.


MEASUREMENT KEY

Back height: Measure from the floor to the top of the frame back. This dimension should be taken with all pillows and cushions removed. If feet are removable make note of the back height minus the height of the feet.

Depth: Measure from the furthest point from front to back.

Diagonal depth: Measure from the top of the back to the front of the arm. Find the midpoint of that measurement and measure from the midpoint to the lower back leg.

Length: Measure from the furthest points left to right.
Diagonal length: Measure from the corner of one edge to the opposite corner’s edge.
