Overview
We’ve raised our favorite console to new heights. Designed with its very own remote control to elevate the TV from the stand – and to resemble a functioning console – it has faux drawer and cabinet fronts and a smooth top with a hinged panel that fits up to a 42" flat-panel TV. To add storage for other components, pair the media lift console with two of our small media lift towers as shown. Each has two tempered-glass doors that open to reveal a cabinet with two adjustable shelves and cord cutouts for wire management. The faux dovetailed drawers feature ring pulls and label holders that are cast of brass with an antique-bronze finish. Pieces are framed in mahogany with frame-and-panel doors, cast-brass ring pulls and label holders, and a distressed finish.Media Lift Suite includes one media lift console and two small media lift towers.

COMPOSITION & CONSTRUCTION
Overall construction of mahogany wood, MDF (medium density fiberboard) and mahogany veneer. MDF, a man-made fiberboard consisting of wood fibers and resin binders, is known for its strength and stability, and is commonly used as a base for veneers. It features uniform consistency with no knots, and while it has about the same density as medium-weight hardwood, it is structurally more stable. It won't crack, and finishes adhere well to it, which results in a smooth end coat. All wood is kiln dried, a process that removes moisture from wood and ensures that it will not split, warp, crack or mildew. Tempered glass is one of two kinds of safety glass that is used whenever standard glass would pose a potential danger. It is manufactured through a process of extreme heating followed by rapid cooling, making it harder than normal glass. This process creates surface compression and tensile strength, resulting in glass that resists breakage; should a break occur, the glass cracks into many small pieces instead of breaking apart. This phenomenon, called "dicing," markedly reduces the likelihood of injury to people as there are no jagged edges or sharp shards.
Pottery Barn has established that the use of veneers for several of our furniture items provides us an opportunity to give our customers excellent quality and finishes. By using veneer, our furniture has flawless surfaces, consistent color tones and will not be subject to gapping, warping and cracking, charateristics that are often present in solid-wood furniture.

If you or a recipient are dissatisfied with a gift item purchased during this time, it can be returned by January 31, 2010, for a refund of the merchandise value. For non-gift items, if you are dissatisfied for any reason within 30 days, (or within 7 days for Quick Ship upholstery) you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value.
