Overview

To create this rug, soft, strong jute fibers are woven on a pit loom, an ancient device that was originally designed to allow the weaver to sit comfortably on the floor while using sunken foot pedals to shift the warp threads as he passes the shuttle back and forth by hand. The result is a chunky, ribbed weave that lends uncommon character to the simple stripe design. Imported. Use with our Standard Rug Pad (sold separately).

COMPOSITION & CONSTRUCTION
Made of 100% jute that has been hand spun for incredible softness.

CARE
Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from settling into the roots of the fibers. Turn carpet around occasionally to equalize wear and use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening the pile. Do not pull loose yarns, but cut with scissors. Remove spills immediately. Blot liquid spills with a clean, undyed cloth by pressing firmly around the spill for maximum absorption. For hard-to-remove stains, consult a professional rug cleaner. Do not dry-clean. Pottery barn can neither recommend any over-the-counter cleaning products, nor guarantee their efficacy. Store rug by rolling it front side out, wrapping it in a cloth for protection, and placing it in a dry, well-ventilated area. Do not fold rug, or store it in an airtight plastic bag. To prevent slippage and color transference, as well as to reduce wear and extend the life of the rug, a rug pad is recommended, standard (#4285623) or premium (#4890596) (sold separately). The standard rug pad is not recommended for use with concrete floors.

For standard delivery of items in stock, UPS will deliver as quickly as 5 business days. Items shipped to Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories will take longer, and are delivered by UPS or USPS at our regular fees, with an additional charge of $10. Return Policy
At Pottery Barn, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction is our priority. We carefully inspect your order prior to shipment. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement. If, within 7 days for Quick Ship upholstery and 30 days for all other products, you are dissatisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase for a refund of the merchandise value.

We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. We also cannot accept returns of final-sale items which are identified by a price which ends in .99.

For returns of items purchased from your Pottery Barn registry, we will gladly provide a refund or exchange for the merchandise within 90 days of your event or within 90 days of purchase, whichever date is later.
