    To create the luscious feel of our hand-loomed shag rug, we chose the highest grade of New Zealand wool – with fibers up to 6" long – and had the yarns tightly twisted and slighty felted before weaving. The result is a seriously cushy, cozy rug that’s irresistible to bare feet. Hand loomed of pure wool. Sheared pile is velvety to the touch. The long fibers used in the construction of our shag rug will cause shedding, which will diminish over time. Rug swatches, below, are available for $25 each.

    We used two types of yarns from the highest grade of New Zealand wool to create a floor covering that’s cozy, plush and inviting to bare feet. The thicker yarns on this shag rug are double felted for a dense cushiony feel, and the thinner yarns are tightly twisted for texture. Hand loomed of pure wool. Sheared pile is velvety to the touch.
