How to Order — INTERNATIONAL
Placing International Orders
Choose the international shipping destination and preferred currency on our website by clicking the flag in the upper or lower right corner of any page. All Pottery Barn.com prices will be automatically converted to your chosen currency.
You can continue to shop Pottery Barn.com once you choose the shipping destination and currency. When you proceed to checkout, your secure transaction will be completed with our global provider, Borderfree. Borderfree will calculate and display a guaranteed order total amount, including all shipping costs and any applicable duties and taxes.
Once you've made your purchase, Pottery Barn.com will ship your item(s) to the Borderfree shipping hub in the United States. Borderfree will then ship your order to its final international destination.
You may ship to a specific country and pay with a different country's currency. For example, you may select "United Kingdom" as your shipping destination, but select "USD" as your preferred currency. If you don't see your country listed, we are currently not shipping to that destination.
If you have an U.S. billing address and are shipping to an APO/FPO address, please proceed through the domestic checkout process.
Please note: To place an order with an international billing address shipping to a US address, please call 1.888.779.5176. A care center representative will be able to assist you with placing an order.
Placing an International Order with Multiple Shipping Addresses
For international orders, we can only support one shipping destination per order. Please place a separate order for each international shipping address.
At Pottery Barn, we update exchange rates on a daily basis. Please be aware that prices on our website may change due to these adjustments. Once you proceed to Borderfree's Checkout, Borderfree will calculate and display a guaranteed order total in your preferred currency, including all shipping costs from our warehouse(s) in the U.S. to your selected international destination, and any applicable duties and taxes imposed by the customs and revenue authorities in the destination country.
Duty, Taxes, Customs Tariffs and Value-Added Taxes (VAT)
Your order total is guaranteed at the exchange rate set when your order is placed. International taxes, tariffs and value-added taxes (VAT) will be calculated into your final order total during checkout.
Duty, customs tariffs and VAT are set by the destination country. They are based on the purchased merchandise's country of origin or manufacturing, and the classification of that merchandise in accordance with a harmonized system adopted and used by the countries that Borderfree supports. The amount of applicable duty, tariffs, taxes and VAT will vary by country and will be determined and guaranteed by Borderfree during checkout.
We only accept Visa or MasterCard for international orders. Your credit card will be billed by Borderfree when your package is shipped to its final international destination. "51*Pottery Barn" will appear on your credit card statement. Pottery Barn Gift Cards are not accepted for international purchases.
Promotional Codes and Special Shipping Offers
Promotional codes and special shipping offers cannot be applied to international orders at this time. Other promotional restrictions may apply. Please contact us at +800.15002222 with any questions.
Pottery Barn offers international shipping on most items, with the following exceptions
- Oversize items and select items delivered by our White Glove Delivery service.
- Hazardous materials, live botanicals, aerosols, food products, & other items restricted from exporting.
- Items with licensing restrictions.
- Gift cards.
Please note: Our electrics CAN be shipped internationally, but they MUST be used with the correct outlet adapters and voltage converters for your area. Plugging our electrics into improper outlets (in excess of 110–120 volts) may result in fire and/or injury.
