PB Standard Brass Window Hardware
The Pottery Barn Standard Brass Window hardware has steel rods with a metal finish. Decorative end cap or ball finials attach to the ends of the rod. Brackets secure the rod to the wall. Curtain tie-backs hold drapes back similar to swags. Curtain rings fit through the rod to hold up the curtains as they dangle gracefully from the rod. Four color options are available for the hardware so it can all coordinate together. Brass, pewter, nickel and bronze are finish options.
Choose from our large selection of drapery collections including Belgian flax linen, linen blend, cotton, silk, velvet or sheer. We also have an outdoor collection that is weather-resistant. Curtains and draperies come in many designs to suit your decorating motif. Many of them have blackout lining to filter out light.
Accent pillows tie in the colors in the draperies with the rest of the room. Place them on sofas and chairs or bedding. Textured faux fur and cable knit in neutral colors blend in nicely. Alternatively, go for a bold plaid, eccentric mosaic pattern or classic embroidery. For a monochromatic tone, use the same color or color family of fabric in the pillows as in the draperies. Mix and match the shapes and patterns to add personality.
Lighting is a very functional decorating accessory but can also enhance the ambience. Floor lamps are versatile and can be placed anywhere there is a plug. A torchiere of three lights emits light with class and elegance. An earthy wood turned lamp is a subtle, natural accent in a den or study. Arcing floor lamps are contemporary in design and seem to reach out to illuminate the area. Candlestick crystal and stacked mercury floor lamps are quite suited to a parlor, sunroom or bedroom.
The windows are dressed, decorative pillows are scattered and there’s gorgeous light in the room. Now, it’s time to give attention to the floor. Place a rug in the room to add pizzazz and comfort when walking on it. They also protect wood and tile floors while providing padding. Many of the patterns are absolutely stunning and look like artwork. You can go for muted tones or vibrant prints. There are florals, Persians, casual jutes and animal safari designs. Place the furniture around whichever rug you choose to create a conversational area in a den or living room. In a bedroom, it looks terrific in front of a dresser.
