Gift Information

Sending the gift they want is as easy as sending a Pottery Barn Gift Card. The Gift Card will arrive via first-class mail in a special gift package that includes our latest catalog. Gift Cards can be redeemed at any Pottery Barn store or through our catalog.

You may purchase a Pottery Barn Gift card online or call 1.888.779.5176. There is no shipping charge for Gift Cards, if you select standard U.S. Postal Service delivery. If you wish, you can also ship the Gift Card via Rush Delivery for an additional $6.50 per order. Rush Delivery orders received by 12 noon (PT) Monday - Thursday will arrive in three business days; orders placed Friday - Sunday by 12 noon (PT) will arrive on the following Wednesday.

Our Evolving Commitment To What's Natural

At Pottery Barn, environmental initiatives are taking root at all levels - from simple efforts to be as paperless as possible on a daily basis to aggressively seeking ways to minimize packaging for shipping. We're also committed to finding ways to build quality furniture with sustainable manufacturing and business practices. We're proud of what we've achieved, but recognize that there's much more to do. We feel a collective urgency - as individuals and as a company - to make strides toward a more ecologically responsible future.

Our customers expect - and deserve - nothing less, and we promise to keep you informed of our progress going forward. Here's what we're doing now:

We print our catalogs entirely on Forest Stewardship Council certified paper. FSC certification ensures that the paper in our catalogs contains fiber from well managed forests that meet strict environmental, social and economic standards that have been certified in accordance with the rules of the Forest Stewardship Council.

Our gift wrap, gift boxes and shipping cartons all contain up to 30% recycled post-consumer waste. Our paper shopping bags contain 15% recycled post-consumer waste.

The majority of our in-store informational materials (furniture collection cards, signage and more) will be printed on FSC certified paper.

We offer a collection of bedding, towels, robes and upholstery that is made from 100% organic cotton fiber through a carefully guided and strictly regulated Oeko-Tex certification process - using no pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, fragrances or dyes.

All our towels are now approved by Oeko-Tex - the world's definitive ecological certification process - so they are made with substantially fewer chemicals than conventional towelling.
