We're excited to introduce Pottery Barn Contract, an exclusive collection
of furnishings designed specifically to meet the performance
standards of any commercial environment.
We draw inspiration from around
the world, and translate those
ideas into stylish, functional,
timeless products designed in
our San Francisco studio.
We work with industry leaders to carefully
select durable, beautiful materials that
ensure our products will withstand commercial
spaces, this includes Williams-Sonoma, Inc.
Contract testing standards and best practices
from ANSI/BIFMA testing protocols.
We work everyday to protect people
and our planet, from partnering with
programs that better the lives of our
global communities to sourcing
certified materials that are
responsibly and ethically produced.
How does Pottery Barn Contract differ from the Trade program?
Our Contract program is intended for commercial spaces, hospitality projects, multi-residential developments and more.
Our Trade program is geared towards those in the design/build industry working on single-residential projects. Please note that registered Trade Members can also use their discount on products from our Contract assortment.
What is the difference between Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Contract Testing and BIFMA?
Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Contract testing standards include all of our regulatory residential standards with an increased level of use, abuse and reliability testing pulled from select test from the ANSI/BIFMA testing protocols.
BIFMA testing (Business & Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association) develops all industry and voluntary standards for the institutional furniture industry in conjunction with ANSI and is conducted in outside testing facilities.
