Tracey Capone Photography and Art Prints
Artfully displayed prints are an excellent way to set the tone of any room - and Tracey Capone photography spans a fabulous range of architecture, trains, charming city views and more. The self-taught photographer from Chicago has a knack for capturing things that we don't notice during our busy day-to-day lives and each subject of her photography makes an excellent framed and matted print to complement any room in your home.
Cityscapes and Chicago Photography
Bring the excitement of the city - day or night - into your kitchen, dining room or living room to capture the essence of adventure. Thrilling cityscapes of the Chicago skyline, famous New York City buildings and busy surface streets make excellent additions to lively spaces. Choose a print with a matte for a more formal, traditional look or one without a matte to complement your contemporary, modern design.
Train Photography
Tracey Capone's train photography is nothing short of stunning. With combinations of vintage architecture and modern trains, as well as charming trolleys and busy subway lines, these art prints look best when displayed with mirrors and travel- or adventure-themed decor. Pick a frame that matches your headboard, complements your mantel or looks amazing with your dining table to create a wonderful look that you, your family and your guests will adore.
Architecture
Immerse yourself in the beautiful symmetry and fabulous design of the architecture that photographer Tracey Capone captures in cities and towns across the United States. Featuring icons such as the Flatiron Building in Manhattan and San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, as well as small-town shots of riverfront homes and other charming venues, these architecturally based photos can complement your home's interior design in immeasurable ways.
Accents
Capture the whimsy and beauty of small accents that most of us take for granted with somewhat abstract photos such as hanging Chinese lanterns or glittering, sparkling string lights. Ideal for small and large spaces, these types of photo prints are a fantastic addition to gallery walls and can serve as a primary focal point in a room.
Tips for Hanging Photos
Framed photos are a must-have in many spaces and there's an art to hanging them properly. Use these tips to ensure you're getting the most visual appeal from every Tracey Capone photo you hang in your home:
- Choose a frame with D-ring mounts for easy hanging.
- Use wall anchors for large photos.
- Set up your gallery wall on the floor before hanging anything on the wall. Use a measuring tape to define the space between pieces of art and use chalk to mark off the appropriate places on your wall.
- Stick to the eye-level rule... in most cases. You should usually hang your most prominent piece of art so that eye-level is somewhere within the bottom half of the frame, but if you're creating a gallery, eye-level should be in the center of your entire collection.
- Use a level to get things just right.
Tracey Capone art prints are a fabulous addition to any home, from the living room to the bedroom. You can use these gorgeous pieces as focal points or combine them with other pieces of art and wall decor to create the perfect environment in your living space.
