Celebrate Independence Day with an easy all-American backyard barbecue starring juicy burgers and star-spangled decor.
With deep roots in American history and a tradition of easy going celebration, the 4th of July is a much-anticipated day to relax with friends and family. Enjoying this gathering with delicious food makes it even better. We were inspired to create a party this year as fun, stylish and easy as possible. For menu, we chose classic burger sliders and pulled pork sandwiches with a fantastic side dish of fries using our secret weapon: the T-Fal ActiFry. A simple stars and stripes decorating theme keeps it duly festive.
The goal of this party is simplicity and ease, but if you have time to send paper invitations, this is the occasion to do it. Mailed invitations build anticipation and let guests know this will be a memorable celebration.
We wanted to keep this casual party looking a little refined, so we set the table with our stunning Rope melamine dinnerware, which captures the look of authentic glazed ceramic, but is shatterproof. To showcase the sandwiches, we placed them in easy-to-grab spots around the table. Every burger is marked (rare, medium and well done) with a little flag made from an easy-to-assemble toothpick and paper tag. Each guests' place is marked with personalized flags tied around sparklers and DIY paper-flag-covered matchboxes nearby, which also make great party favors.
Water Hyacinth Place Mats keep the table looking crisp, and their chunky weave adds natural texture. The soft color echoes the burger buns and fries, and our napkins are star studded on durable cotton.
Our Picnic Condiment Set keeps mustards, ketchup, relish and other toppings at the ready. Vintage Wood Cheese-boards display slices of cheese plus thick slices of onion and pickle, and summer fruit.
