5 Ways to Use a Table Throw

1.    On the Dining Table

Table throws don’t feel as formal as a tablecloth or runner, and they create so many ways to layer – either over one another or a larger tablecloth. Just think about where the hanging corners will land – it's better if they can fall between the chairs – and not on your guests’ lap.

If you are going for soft and romantic, choose a material that drapes nicely, like linen. Want cleaner lines? Cotton will be more substantial and hang a bit heavier.

A casual, light table throw can add a pop of color or unexpected texture to the end of your bed when you want to switch things up – especially if your bedding errs on the neutral side.

4.    On a Coffee Table

Incorporate a table throw into your living room style, too, by laying it flat on your coffee table, or loosely draping it across diagonally. This creates soft lines, and adds visual interest to your existing decorating vignette.
