Creative Ways to Display Your Wedding Photos

From the first look to the first kiss after “I do” - and maybe that jumping photo shoot with the wedding party - your big day is full of special moments. Here are a few ways to showcase them around your home (because you shouldn’t have to dust off an album every time you want to relive them).

Design a Gallery Wall

This hot home-design trend is pretty much foolproof. Map out a grid using identical frames, or stagger various shapes, sizes and styles. You can even layer them slightly for a multidimensional feel.

Like the vintage look? Print your pictures in black-and-white or sepia, and place them in ornate gold and silver frames.

Want to mix it up? Work cute sentiment prints, wall letters, wooden signs and mirrors into your display.

Make Over Your Mantel

A time-honored place to put meaningful family pictures, the mantel sets the perfect stage for a photo montage. Cluster frames with different sizes and shapes, taking into account symmetry and weight. You can also hang a few of your favorite photos and adorn the mantel with keepsakes from your big day – pressed greenery, the bride's bouquet or the groom's boutonniere.

Don't have a fireplace? Create a mantel-like display by installing a large floating shelf above a focal point in the room, like a console or sofa.

Think Inside the (Shadow) Box

Show off and preserve three-dimensional keepsakes from your special day with a shadow box. From dried flower arrangements to champagne corks to your “something blue,” these frames are ideal for happy couples who like to tell a story. Mount them on their own, or position them on a display shelf.

Create a Coffee-Table Book

Big, beautiful and great for starting conversations, an oversized coffee-table book is a prime way to display your wedding photos. Get creative by dividing it into chapters, chronologically or aesthetically, or simply add captions to your favorite photos. Stack it up with your favorite design and fashion books, surround it with decor or let it stand out on its own. Your friends and family will love flipping through it when they visit.
